JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip Releasing on this Date; Know Where and How to Check Exam City

JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip for session 1 will be releasing in the first week of January 2026, as per the official update from NTA. The session 1 exam will be conducted from January 21 to 30, 2026.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip by the first week of January 2026 for the session 1 exam. Only candidates who have successfully registered for the JEE Main session 1 exam are eligible to download their city intimation slip via the official portal – jeemain.nta.nic.in, once released. The JEE Main City Slip 2026 contains details about the city where their exam centre is located. The JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam is set to be conducted from January 21 to 30, 2026.

The JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip helps candidates to plan their travel logistics well in advance and to avoid the last-minute chaos. Once decided, the JEE Main City Intimation 2026 can’t be modified. The city slip will be released separately for session 1 and session 2. Following the JEE Main 2026 Exam City Slip, the admit card will be issued to the candidates three to four days before their exam date.

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download the city intimation slip for JEE Main 2026 session 1, once released:

Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Main – jeemain.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: Now select the “JEE Main 2026 Session 1 City Intimation Slip” link on the homepage.

Step 3: Now, enter the login credentials, such as registration number and password.

Step 4: The JEE Main Exam City Slip 2026 for session 1 will be displayed on the screen. 

Step 5: Download the city intimation slip and save it for future reference.

JEE Main City Slip 2026: Admit Card Release Date

The JEE Main 2026 session 1 admit card will be released three to four days before the exam. For candidates, the admit card is mandatory to carry on the day of the exam. Without it, candidates will not be permitted inside the examination centre. Only a physical copy of the admit card is accepted on the day of the exam. First, the city intimation slip is released to inform about the exam city details and exam dates. After that, NTA releases the JEE Main admit card to inform candidates about their exam centre’s address and shift timings. The admit card for both sessions will be released separately.
