JEE Main Cut-off 2026: Know the qualifying score

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the JEE Main 2026 cutoff scores concurrently with the official results. Candidates will receive a comprehensive scorecard featuring their All India Rank (AIR), subject-specific normalised scores, and their overall aggregate percentile. Trends suggest that the 2026 cutoffs are likely to rise across all categories compared to the previous cycle, which saw a General category (CRL) requirement of 93.23. Other previous benchmarks included 81.32 for EWS, 79.67 for OBC, 60.09 for SC, and 46.69 for ST candidates.

Ultimately, clearing the initial JEE Main cutoff serves as the dual gateway to both the JEE Advanced exam and the subsequent national counselling process. Only those who meet this qualifying threshold are permitted to participate in seat allocation for the 2026 academic session.
