The National Testing Agency (NTA) officially releases the JEE Main 2025 results on its official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam can log in using their application number and password to view and download their JEE Main 2025 scorecard. JEE Mains 2025 Result – Steps to Secure Admission
The candidate aspiring to get into top B.Tech courses such as CSE, EEE, and ME in top NITs will be required to score above 250 marks (General category) for a higher chance of admission. Once the results are out, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct a common counselling process for the qualified candidates. JoSAA manages the counselling process for NITs, IITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.

- Candidates need to Register for JoSAA Counselling 2025 at josaa.nic.in.
- Fill out the registration form using JEE Main 2025 Roll and password.“Choice Filling and Locking” option available – ( Select the preferred NITs, branches, and courses based on your JEE Main rank and eligibility.)
- Lock the choices before the final date
- JoSAA will release multiple rounds of seat allotment. Candidates should also meet the cutoff for the NITs they are applying for.
- Seat will be allotted accordingly, providing candidates with 3 options – Freeze (accept and do not upgrade), Float (accept, but want a better option if available), Slide (accept, but want a better course in the same institute)
- After Seat acceptance, the required documents need to be uploaded for online verification, along with the payment of the seat acceptance fee
- After the final round of seat allocation 2025, candidates must report to their allotted NIT physically (or as per the 2025 guidelines) with original documents.
