The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has declared the JAC 12th Result 2026 on May 6, 2026. Students can check their result on the official website – jac.jharkhand.gov.in, after entering credentials such as roll number and date of birth. The exams of Arts, Science, and Commerce streams were held from February 3 to February 23 by the JAC. To check their result via SMS method, students are required to type RESULT JAC12 followed by their Roll Code and Roll Number and send it to 56263.
To pass the JAC 12th Result 2026, a student requires a minimum of 33% marks in aggregate and in each subject. The Jharkhand Board has a provision of grace marks for the students of JAC Class 12th Exam 2026 who fail the exams by a small margin. The grace mark is given under three circumstances: if a student fails a subject by less than 5% of the total marks, then he/she will be given the grace mark to pass the exam. If a student fails in two subjects by less than 3% of the total marks in each subject, then he/she will be given grace marks. Grace mark will also be given to those students who fall short of 5% or less in getting a higher division, so that they can get the higher division.
