IIM Kozhikode has officially declared the CAT Answer Key 2025 on December 4, on the official website – iimcat.ac.in. Candidates can calculate their scores and challenge the answer if not satisfied.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode has officially declared the IIM CAT Answer Key 2025 on the official website on December 4, 2025. The CAT 2025 exam was smoothly conducted on November 30, 2025, in 170 cities across various centres. Now that the CAT provisional answer key has been released, candidates can calculate their scores before the final result, and if they are not satisfied with their marks, they can raise objections against that specific question. To access the CAT 2025 Provisional answer key, candidates need to enter their registration number and password. 

The CAT 2025 exam was conducted in three sections – Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA). IIM Kozhikode has released the CAT answer key 2025 for all three sections separately. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded + 3 marks, and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Also, there is no negative marking for the Type in the answer (TITA) question.

Step 3: Candidates must enter their registration number and password

Step 4: The CAT Answer Key 2025 will be displayed on the screen

Step 5: Download the answer key and take a printout for future reference 

IIM CAT 2025 Answer Key: Marking Scheme

To calculate their scores, candidates must know the marking scheme given by the conducting body:

  • For each correct answer, candidates will be given 3 marks.
  • For each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted for that question as a penalty.
  • There will be no negative marking for Non-MCQ (TITA) questions.
  • If any question is left unanswered by the candidate, then there will be no penalty for that question.

Candidates can calculate their tentative marks by following the marking scheme mentioned above. Also, the CAT 2025 result is likely to be declared by the first week of January 2026.
