The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will announce the results of the Chartered Accountants (CA) Foundation examination held in May 2025 tomorrow, on July 6, 2025, at 5 PM. The ICAI CA Foundation result will be available on the official website of the institute – icai.nic.in or icai.org. Students who appeared for the ICAI CA Exam 2025 May Session can download the scorecards using their registration and roll numbers. The ICAI conducted the CA Foundation May 2025 examination on May 15, 17, 19 and 21. The minimum passing percentage required to qualify the ICAI CA Exam 2025 is 40% in each subject and 50% aggregate. Aspirants will have the option to appear in the September session again if they failed to secure the minimum passing marks.

CA Foundation Passing Criteria

The pass percentage of the CA Foundation is decided by the number of students who appear for the exam and the number of students passing the same.

Over the past five years, the pass percentage for CA Foundation examination has been below 40%. November 2018 was the highest at 44.12%. Generally, the pass percentage is between 20 and 30%.
