The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the official schedule for the CA Final Mock Test Series for the January 2026 examination cycle. The initiative aims to give aspirants a simulated exam experience, allowing them to assess their readiness, manage exam-time pressure, and identify areas for improvement ahead of the final attempt.
As per ICAI’s announcement, the mock tests for CA Final will be conducted in two series: Series I will start from November 17, 2025, and will go on till November 28, 2025, whereas Series II will start from December 4, 2025, and go on till December 15, 2025. Both series will comprehensively cover all eight papers from Group I and Group II of the CA Final course. Candidates can appear in either or both series to strengthen their conceptual preparation and familiarise themselves with the exam pattern followed by ICAI.
Schedule and Conduct of CA Final Mock Tests
The CA Final course consists of eight papers divided into two groups. The following table presents the split of papers between Group I and Group II, reflecting the structure for the mock test series and the final exams.

ICAI has encouraged candidates to register early on its official website icai.org to confirm participation in their preferred series and mode. Candidates can opt to take the mock tests through either the offline mode at ICAI regional offices and branches or via the online platform provided by the institute.
ICAI CA Final Mock Test Series Registration
- Step 1: Visit the official ICAI website at icai.org and go to the e-services section, then select Student Services.
- Step 2: Log in with your ICAI registration credentials or create a new account if you are a first-time user.
- Step 3: Find the Mock Test Series registration link and choose your preferred test series (Series I or Series II) and mode (online or offline).
- Step 4: Complete the registration form with your details, upload any required documents, and proceed to pay the registration fee online.
- Step 5: After successful payment, you will receive confirmation of your enrollment along with test schedule details. Attend the mock tests at your assigned center or access them online as per your mode selection.
The mock test series helps boost students’ confidence, reduce exam anxiety, and provide detailed feedback on performance. ICAI will publish answer keys and suggested answers after each paper to aid self-evaluation and conceptual clarity.
