The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results for the Chartered Accountant (CA) Final and Intermediate examinations held in September 2025. The ICAI CA results were released today, November 3, 2025, around 11 AM. Candidates who appeared for the inter and final exams can check their scores and download their scorecards from the official ICAI website – icai.nic.in.
The CA course prepares students for careers in accounting, auditing, taxation, and finance. The ICAI CA Intermediate exam covers core subjects like Advanced Accounting, Corporate Laws, Taxation, Cost Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Management, while the ICAI CA Final exam focuses on advanced subjects including Financial Reporting, Advanced Auditing, Corporate Laws, Direct and Indirect Taxation, and Strategic Management. Clearing all three levels qualifies candidates to become Chartered Accountants.
ICAI CA Final and Intermediate September Result 2025: How to Download?
Candidates can download their ICAI CA 2025 results for Final and Intermediate levels from the official ICAI website by following these steps:
Step 1: Go to the official ICAI result website at icai.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link for your exam level: either CA Final or CA Intermediate.
Step 3: Enter your Roll Number, Registration Number, PIN, Date of Birth, and the CAPTCHA code as shown.
Step 4: Click the Submit button to view your result.
Step 5: Download the scorecard and save it for your records.
ICAI CA Intermediate and CA Final Result 2025: What’s Next?
After passing the CA Intermediate exam, the next step for candidates is to begin their CA Articleship, a practical training period under a practicing Chartered Accountant and start preparing for their CA final level exam. The articleship offers real-world experience in key areas such as audits, taxation, and accounting. This articleship is a precondition before proceeding to the CA Final exam.
Upon clearing the CA Final examination, candidates become eligible to apply for membership with ICAI. Candidates must apply through ICAI’s Self Service Portal by submitting a specified form (Form 2) alongside essential documents such as CA Final mark sheets, articleship completion certificates, and proof of completing the required management courses.
Once the membership application is approved and fees are paid, candidates receive an ICAI membership number, officially recognizing them as Chartered Accountants. Additionally, members can apply for a Certificate of Practice (COP) if they wish to practice independently and take on statutory audits under Indian laws.
