IBPS RRB Clerk 2025: The registration process for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Regional Rural Bank (RRB) Clerical Exam will close on September 28, 2025. Candidates planning to apply and appear for the exam must register themselves through the IBPS official website, ibps.in, before this deadline. 

The IBPS RRB clerk exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection to recruit for Office Assistants (Clerk), in Regional Rural Banks across India. Exam dates for IBPS RRB Clerk have been released on the IBPS official website. This year, the IBPS RRB Clerk prelims exam is scheduled for December 6, 7, 13, and 14, 2025, and the mains exam will take place on February 1, 2026. 

IBPS RRB Clerk 2025: Steps to Apply 

The step-by-step process to register for IBPS RRB Clerical Exam at the IBPS Portal is as follows: 

Step 1: Go to the Official IBPS website www.ibps.in and click on the Home Page to open the link “CRP for RRBs”

Step 2: Click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- RRBs-OFFICERS (Scale-I, II and III)” OR “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- RRBs- OFFICE ASSISTANTS (Multipurpose)” to open up the Online Application Form.

Step 3: Click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” and register by entering your basic information. 

Step 4: Note down the provisional registration number and password. 

Step 5: Carefully fill in the online application form and upload the required documents. Don’t forget to press “SAVE and NEXT” as you proceed. 

Step 6: Submit your application by paying the required examination fee 

It is important to ensure that every detail is correctly filled prior to submission as no change is possible after submission.

Application Fee for the IBPS RRB Clerk examination is as follows : 

  • Rs.175/- (Inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/ PwBD/ ESM /DESM candidates.
  • Rs.850/- (Inclusive of GST) for all others

IBPS RRB Office Assistant Eligibility Criteria 

It is important to note the IBPS RRB Clerk eligibility criteria before applying for the Office Assistant posts.

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen or a person of specified neighboring nationalities/Indian origin who has migrated to India with the intention of permanent settlement.
  • The age limit is 18–28 years for the Unreserved category, with relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD, and service-based extensions for Ex-Servicemen (up to 50 years max). For widows, divorced, and legally separated women (not remarried), the limit is 35 years (General/EWS), 38 years (OBC), and 40 years (SC/ST).
  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised University or its equivalent.
