The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS PO (Probationary Officer) Notification 2026 on July 1. Candidates can access the notification PDF on the official website, ibps.in. Along with the notification, examination authority also started the IBPS PO Registration Process 2026. Candidates interested in applying for the IBPS PO exam 2026 can apply for the exam till July 21, 2026. Once the application process is over, IBPS will also open the application correction window for two days. As per the official IBPS PO notification 2026, the IBPS PO Preliminary exam 2026 will be conducted in August and the Main examination will be held in October 2026.
The IBPS PO registration for 2026 will be conducted online and there will be single registration for both IBPS PO Preliminary and Main examination. Candidates must upload essential documents such as Candidate’s photograph, signature, thumb impression and a scanned copy of the hand written declaration. In order to appear for the examination, candidates must fulfil the IBPS PO 2026 eligibility criteria. IBPS PO Notification 2026: Eligibility Criteria
IBPS PO Notification 2026 has been officially released by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) on July 1, 2026. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the examination. Candidates must know that there will be certain eligibility requirements based on education qualification, nationality and age limit. Candidates should have a graduation certificate from a registered institute with a maximum age limit of 30 years and minimum of 20 years. And as per the official notice, the candidate must be either of the following in terms of nationality:
- A Citizen of India or
- A subject of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Any one of these must be fulfilled provided that the candidate belonging to categories (2), (3), (4) & (5) (as mentioned above) should be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
