GATE 2026- The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) registration process 2026 will start on August 28, 2025 on the official website – gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The registration dates are revised by the exam conducting body. The GATE 2026 registration with regular fees will remain active till September 28, 2025. As for the extended fees, the GATE application form 2026 will be available from September 29, 2025 to October 9, 2025.

GATE 2026 Registration- Steps to apply
The step-by-step process to register for the GATE 2026 at GOAPS portal is as follows:
Step 1: Visit the official GATE 2026 website
Step 2: On the homepage select the “ New candidate registration link”
Step 3: Now enter the details asked- name, registered mobile number, E-mail address etc. & submit
Step 4: Once the registration is complete, candidates will receive an enrollment ID and password.
Step 5: Log in using the credentials and fill out the application form.
Step 6: Upload the documents as per specification and pay the application fees.
Step7: Submit the form and keep a copy for future purposes.
