The GATE Admit Card 2026 is set to be released by the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, anytime soon. The conducting authority has not confirmed any GATE Admit Card 2026 Date officially on their portal. Candidates who have registered for the IIT GATE 2026 exam and paid the registration fee will be able to download their hall ticket from the official website- gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

Earlier, the GATE Admit Card 2026 was scheduled to be released on January 2, but was postponed by the exam authority due to technical issues. GATE 2026 Exam is scheduled to be held on February 7, 8, 14 and 15 in two shifts: morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

GATE 2026: Marking Scheme

In the GATE 2026 exam, questions carry either one mark or two marks. For a wrong answer chosen in an MCQ, there will be negative marking. For a one-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer. For a two-mark MCQ, 2/3 marks will be deducted for a wrong answer.

There is no negative marking for wrong answer(s) to MSQ or NAT questions. There is no partial marking in MSQ.
