GATE 2026 Objection Window Available at GOAPS Portal: Check last date & instructions to verify provisional answer key

The GATE 2026 Objection Window is now open from February 25 to 28, 2026, at the GOAPS portal. The students must check the instructions to verify the answer key before raising an objection.

The GATE 2026 Objection Window is now available at the GOAPS portal on February 25, 2026. The Students can raise objections from February 25 to 28, 2026. Objections can be raised along with the justification, and by paying the required fees. The students can check the provisional answer key 2026 and estimate their marks by logging into their registered account at gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

The candidate must note before going to the GATE 2026 Objection Window that the students must refer to the Master Question paper, as the GATE 2026 Answer Key has been released corresponding to it. The candidates who appeared for the GATE 2026 Exam must not confuse the session numbers provided in the “View Response”. With the master question paper & answer key, aspirants can calculate their scores and predict their admission probabilities.

GATE Objection Window 2026: Instructions to Verify Answer Key

The candidates must check the instructions to verify the GATE answer key 2026 before raising objections. Here is a list of instructions that must be taken care of:

  • The students must note that the questions and their options are shuffled during the exam, and the students must match the Master Question Paper as the answer key is provided according to it. 
  • The candidates must also keep in mind that the session number for the forenoon and the afternoon session in the View Response has a relation to the session number in which the candidate appeared.

GATE 2026 Objection Window: Steps to Raise Objections

The students who feel that any of the answers mentioned in the GATE 2026 Answer Key is wrong can raise an objection against it by following the steps: 

Step 1: The student must visit the official website: gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

Step 2: The candidate must now log in and look for the “GATE 2026 Answer Key”.

Step 3: Click on the link and then press Raise Objections.

Step 4: Now the student can select the question they want to object to and then pay the required fee. 

Step 5: Press the submit button and download it for future reference.

The students must raise the objections along with the justification provided in support of the objection raised.
