The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notice on December 4 for candidates planning to appear for the CUET UG Exam 2026. As per the official notice released by the NTA, the CUET UG 2026 examination will be conducted in May 2026. The application form for the same will be made available on the official website- cuet.nta.nic.in. The detailed CUET UG Exam Schedule 2026 will be released soon on the same official portal.
To fill the CUET UG Application Form 2026, candidates are advised to first update all their documents before applying for the CUET UG 2026 exam. All the eligible students are advised to ensure that their Aadhar Card, UDID Card and Category certificate are updated well in advance before applying for the CUET UG exam. If any candidate’s documents are not updated as per the guidelines, they can face rejection for their application form. This is an essential step to be considered eligible for the CUET UG 2026.

CUET UG 2026 Exam: Documents to be Updated
Candidates who are interested in applying for the CUET UG 2026 exam must update the following documents mentioned below before the registration process to be considered eligible for the CUET UG exam:
- Aadhaar Card: The candidate’s Aadhaar card should be updated with the correct name, date of birth as per the class 10th certificate, as well as with the latest photograph, address and father’s name.
- UDID Card: Candidates who fall under the disability category are advised to make sure that their UDID Card/Disability Certificate is valid, updated and renewed as required.
- Category Certificate: Candidates who fall under different categories, such as EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL should make sure that their certificates are updated and valid in advance.
CUET UG Exam Eligibility 2026: Educational Qualifications
The eligibility criteria will be released along with the official notification. Meanwhile, aspiring students can take a look at the previous year’s eligibility criteria.
- Candidates must have passed the Class 10+2/equivalent examination.
- Candidates appearing for Class 12 board examination, candidates can apply for CUET. However, at the time of counselling, they would need to present the passing certificate.
