The CTET Feb 2026 exam is going to begin on Feb 7, 2026. Due to the large number of registrations, the exam will be conducted on 2 days: Feb 7 & 8, and in two shifts in 140 cities across the country. In the first shift (9:30 am to 12 noon), the paper 2 will be conducted, and in the second shift (2:30 pm to 5 pm), the paper 1 will be conducted. The students must check their schedule on the official website ctet.nic.in and exam timings properly to avoid any kind of confusion.

The candidate must also reach the exam centre before the time for the CTET Feb 2026 exam, as after the commencement of the exam, no student will be allowed to enter. The student must carry the CTET admit card 2026 along with the original ID proof and passport sized photograph. This is a must, and no entry will be provided without these.

CTET Feb 2026 Exam: Exam Day Guidelines 

There are certain guidelines that the student must follow and be careful about for the CTET Feb 2026 exam. They are: 

  • The student must reach the exam centre at least by 8:30 am and 2:30 pm according to the allotted time on the exam day and must check the schedule properly. 
  • Carrying any kind of smart watch, study material, or Bluetooth device is strictly prohibited. 
  • The candidate must cooperate with the authorities and cannot leave the centre till the exam is over. 
  • The student must carry a transparent water bottle.

The students must carry the documents as mentioned on the official website along with them for the CTET Feb 2026 exam. Here is the list of documents:

Last Minute Preparation Tips for CTET Feb 2026 Exam

At the last minute, the candidate must not read something completely new. The students are advised to just revise what they have already learnt and be confident in that. The student must focus primarily on the NCERT and remain calm during the exam. Any kind of panic can ruin the exam. It is also advised to get proper sleep before sitting for the exam. 

For the CTET exam, the student must complete the exam on time and must divide the exam time (2.5 hrs) properly. This will help the students to manage the exam properly without creating any kind of hassle.
