The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the CTET Application Form 2026 is closing today, December 18, 2025. Candidates who have yet to register for the CTET 2026 exam must complete their application form by December 18 (11:59 PM) to be considered eligible for the exam. Before filling out the CTET 2026 application form, candidates must thoroughly review the eligibility criteria. The CTET Exam 2026 will be conducted in two shifts for Papers 1 and 2.
The CTET 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on February 8, 2026. There is no provision in the CTET application form 2026 to select the examination city; candidates will be allotted the examination city by CBSE on a random basis. Any request made by the candidate to change their examination city, for whatever reason, will not be entertained by the CBSE. The CTET admit card 2026 will be released online on the official CTET website few days before the exam.
