The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notice on February 24, 2026, on its official website, stating that the board has decided to conduct the Paper 2 CTET 2026 Re-exam on March 1, 2026. The CTET Paper II exam was earlier scheduled to be conducted on February 7, 2026, but due to administrative reasons, the paper 2 was not conducted in the centres: Lakshya International Academy, Bardiha, Vaishali – Bihar, and St. John’s Academy, Vaishali – Bihar.
The Exam centres for the CTET 2026 Re-exam will remain the same, and the students who will be appearing for the re-exam will have to download the revised admit cards. The CTET 2026 admit card will be available for download on their official website: ctet.nic.in. The students must download and appear for the exam accordingly. Also, as mentioned in the notice, no chance will be given again to reappear for the 21st edition CTET 2026 Exam, and the request for a change of exam centre and time will not be accepted. The student must ensure that they appear for the re-exam.
CTET 2026 Re-Exam: Centre Details
The students whose Paper II exam was not conducted earlier can now appear for the Paper II CTET 2026 Re-exam. The students can check the table below for the exam centre details:

The exams will be re-conducted in the same centres as mentioned above. The students must note that further requests for change in the exam centre will not be entertained.

The CTET Result 2026 can be released by the end of May as per the official website, and the students are advised to stay updated. Also, the students whose Paper 2 was not conducted due to administrative reasons will have to appear on March 1, 2026, for the CTET re-exam 2026.
