The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the CSIR NET Answer key on December 30, 2025 on their website – csirnet.nta.nic.in. This CSIR NET 2025 answer key is out along with the response sheet of candidates, making it easy for them to cross check their responses with the official answer key. Candidates who appeared for the CSIR NET December 2025 can raise objection to the provisional answer key till January 1, 2026.
With the release of the provisional answer key, NTA has also opened the objection window for CSIR NET 2025 exam, allowing exam applicants to raise objections if they find any mistake in the answer key. The CSIR NET answer key window will remain active from December 30, 2025 to January 1, 2026 (till 11 PM). Candidates challenging the answer key have to pay Rs. 200 per question.

Candidates can get the CSIR NET answer key December 2025 PDF downloaded online by entering their respective Application number and password or their Date of birth (DOB) on the portal of CSIR NET. Go through the following simple steps to view or download CSIR NET Answer key December 2025 online.
Step 1: Go to the official website of CSIR NET 2025 – csirnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Then search for the active link for the provisional CSIR NET 2025 answer key on the homepage.
Step 3: Click on the active link to get to the Login Page.
Step 4: Once the login page opens, enter your details like Application number and password or their Date of birth (DOB)
Step 5: After successfully logging in, you will find links of your response sheet and provisional CSIR NET Answer key December 2025.
Step 6: Click on the link to download your response sheet and answer key
Step 7: Print or save the file for future reference.
Candidates should note that the answer key of CSIR NET 2025 Exam is released purely on a provisional basis. A final Answer key will be released by NTA after carefully scrutinising all the objections received.
CSIR NET 2025 Answer Key: How to raise objections?
After going through the provisional CSIR NET Answer key December 2025, if you find any answer key wrong or ambiguous, you can raise an objection on the portal by following the steps given below.
- Visit the website of CSIR NET.
- Go to the answer key link, and click on it.
- Enter your Login credentials: Application number and password or their Date of birth (DOB)
- Enter the security pin and log in.
- Search for the objection window available on the page.
- Once the page opens, choose the answer key that you want to challenge.
- Tap on ‘Save Your Claims’ to confirm your objection.
- Provide valid proof and documents supporting your claim.
- Click on the pay fees button and pay the per question fees (generally INR 200) through the prescribed transaction method.
Note: Objections will not be accepted after the deadline.
The final CSIR NET Answer key December 2025 will be released after analyzing all the objections. If in case for any one question, there are two correct options then marks will be allotted to candidates who have chosen any one of those options.
