Candidates can download their city slip from the official website, csirnet.nta.nic.in, by logging in to the online portal using their registered credentials such as their registration number, date of birth and password. The CSIR NET 2026 exam will be held on July 17 and 18, 2026. The city slip is generally released 10 days prior to the exam date, allowing candidates to check their allotted city and make travel plans in advance to avoid any confusion later.
Only those candidates who have submitted the CSIR NET 2026 registration form will be eligible to receive their city slip and admit card. If there is any error in the CSIR NET City 2026 Intimation Slip, candidates must report to the Conducting body on priority. Once the CSIR NET Admit Card 2026 is released, candidates are advised to download the same and check for any discrepancies. Candidates must download and carry printed copies of the admit card on the day of the CSIR NET exam 2026. CSIR NET 2026 City Intimation Slip: Prohibited Items

These items are not permitted in the exam centre and can lead to disqualification if found.
- It is completely prohibited to smoke, chew gum, spit, etc., in the examination hall. Instruments such as geometry sets, pencil boxes, handbags, purses, any type of paper or stationery, food, beverages, and water (free-flowing or packed), as well as mobile phones, earphones, microphones, pagers, calculators, cameras, tape recorders, and other metallic objects, are not permitted in the examination hall.
Candidates must strictly remember to maintain decorum and carry the CSIR NET 2026 Admit Card on the day of the exam. Candidates must ensure to keep their Admit Card downloaded and printed in multiple copies as a backup. In case a candidate forgets to bring the admit card to the exam centre, they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

Step 1: Visit the official website of CSIR NET Exam – csirnet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, find the link titled ‘CSIR NET 2026 City Intimation Slip’, click on it to open the login page.
Step 3: On the login page, enter your registration ID, date of birth and password to log in.
Step 4: Click on Submit.
Step 5: The CSIR NET 2026 City Intimation Slip will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Download the PDF and print it for future reference.
Candidates are advised to keep track of all necessary documents and to download their CSIR NET 2026 Admit Card promptly upon release.
