The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the examination dates for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026. The CMAT exam 2026 will be conducted on January 25, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The CMAT 2026 registration started on October 17, 2025, in online mode, and the registration deadline was extended till November 24, 2025.

CMAT 2026 is a three-hour entrance examination conducted to evaluate the candidates’ ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship, for admission to the management courses in the academic session 2026-27. Candidates preparing for the CMAT 2026 exam must be aware of the exam pattern and syllabus.

CMAT 2026 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

As per the CMAT exam pattern 2026, there are five sections in the question paper, each carrying 20 questions: Quant & DI, Logical Reasoning, VARC, General Knowledge, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

Each question carries four marks in the CMAT 2026 exam. For each correct response, the candidate will get four marks. For each incorrect response, one mark will be deducted from the total score. Unanswered or unattempted questions will be given no marks.

Candidates are advised to report at the examination center well in time, i.e., two hours before the commencement of the examination.
