The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU’s) has fixed October 31, 2025, as the last date for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 registrations. The CLAT 2026 registration window opened on August 1, 2025, and is set to close on October 31, 2025. Applicants can complete their online application form on the official portal at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. It is important to follow the official deadlines to sit for the CLAT 2026 exam.

Eligibility for CLAT Exam 2026

The eligibility criteria for CLAT 2026 is as follows:

CLAT UG 2026 Eligibility Criteria- Candidates must have passed Class 12th from a recognised board and institute. They must have scored at least 45% in their Class 12. SC and ST candidates are eligible with 40% in Class 12th.
CLAT PG 2026 Eligibility Criteria- Candidates must have completed LLB graduation from a university recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI). They must have scored at least 50% (45% for SC and ST candidates) in graduation.
