CBSE Compartment Exam 2025 Applications Start Tomorrow: Check CBSE 10th, 12th Supplementary details

Students who fail to qualify the CBSE 10th 12th board exam 2025 now get a chance to appear in the supplementary exam. The application process will commence from May 30, 2025 by the CBSE board.

CBSE Compartment Exam 2025: The CBSE 10th and 12th result 2025 was released by the Central Board of Secondary Education on May 13, 2025. Students who did not pass the CBSE board exam 2025 are now given a chance to appear in the CBSE 10th 12th supplementary exam 2025. As per the official notification, the board authority will commence the CBSE supplementary exam 2025 application process from tomorrow, May 30, 2025 on the official website of the board cbse.gov.in.

The submission of List of Candidates LOC is to be done through the PARIKSHA SANGAM at cbse.gov.in by the schools. Only those students whose name is submitted through the online process shall be allowed to appear for Supplementary Examinations, 2025. The schools will have to use their Affiliation Number as a user ID and the password already available with them for login to the system for submission of LOC.

The CBSE board will be accepting the applications for CBSE class 10, 12 supplementary exams till June 17, 2025. However, with late fee of INR 2000 (in addition to the fee prescribed), the last application date is July 19, 2025. Students must note that the CBSE class 10th supplementary exam 2025 scheduled to be conducted from July 15, 2025, while CBSE class 12th supplementary exam 2025 will be conducted only on June 15, 2025. Students of CBSE board class XII can appear for only one subject in compartments while that of class X are given an opportunity to appear for 2 subjects.

CBSE Board Compartment Exam 2025: Fees 

If students submit their details on or before June 17, 2025 and finalization of data is done on or before June 17, 2025 and the fee is submitted by June 17, 2025, then no late fee shall be applicable and If students will not submit their fee by June 17, 2025, thereafter the late fee will be applicable. The application fees will only be accepted through digital payment mode such as –  Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.

Regular students who appeared in CBSE class 12th Board 2025 exam through the schools affiliated to the board are eligible to appear only in one subject in which they are placed in the Compartment. Regular students who appeared in CBSE Board class 10th exam 2025 through schools affiliated to the Board and get the compartment are eligible to apply in one or two subjects in which they get Compartment.
students appeared in CBSE class 12th Board exam 2025 through schools affiliated to the board with 6 subjects and placed in compartment in two subjects are eligible to apply in any one of the two subjects in which they get the Compartment. Regular students who appeared in CBSE class 10th Examinations 2025 through schools affiliated to the Board with 6/7 subjects and they also passed the exam due to replacement of subject(s) are eligible to appear in that subject(s) under the improvement of performance category only in the subjects whose examinations will be conducted.
Students who appeared and passed the CBSE Board exam 2025 can appear in any one subject under the improvement of the performance category only in the subjects whose examinations will be conducted.Students who appeared in the class 10th 2025 exam and passed the exam can appear in up to two subjects under the improvement of the performance category only in the subjects whose examinations will be conducted by the board authority.

CBSE Supplementary Exam 2025: Steps to Submit LOC 

Check the steps to know how to submit List of Candidates (LOC) by schools for supplementary exam; 

  • Generate a List of Candidate (LOC) placed in the Compartment from the school login.
  • Choose the roll No. and subject of the student who wants to appear in the Compartment exam. 
  • After finalize the selection, note download the “Application ID”. 
  • After completing the above steps, pay the fees online. 
  • Generate a final list and keep a copy for school records with proof of depositing fee.
