The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be declaring the CBSE Class 12th Result 2026 soon on its official website – results.cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in. Alongwith the official website, the CBSE 12th Result 2026 can be checked through different other ways, such as through the SMS method, DigiLocker method, IVRS call, and Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG) application. This year, CBSE introduced the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system that enables checking the answer sheets digitally.
Students must understand that the marksheet released online will be provisional, and they need to collect their original marksheet from the respective school. CBSE 2026 Class 12th Board Examinations started on February 17, 2026 and ended on April 10, 2026. According to the data provided by the CBSE, as many as 18,59,551 (10,27,552 male and 8,31,999 female) students gave the class 12th CBSE board exams this year and are eagerly waiting for the CBSE Class 12th Result 2026. To pass the board examination, students need an aggregate score of 33% and the same percentage separately in each subject.
CBSE Class 12th Result 2026: How to check the result online?
Once the result is declared, students can check their results through the official portal, Digilocker method or SMS method. CBSE has provided these facilities to make, checking of results easier for students who appeared in the exam. Students can check their CBSE 2026 Class 12th results by following these steps-
Step 1- Visit any of the official websites of CBSE – cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in
Step 2- Click on CBSE Class 12 result 2026
Step 3- Enter login credentials required such as roll number, date of birth, school code, admit card number and click submit.
Step 4- After this, you can view your CBSE 12th result 2026.
It is very necessary to keep a printed copy of the result for future reference. The printed copy is used in admissions and other official requirements before the original marksheet is received in the school.

Last year, the board announced the Class 12th CBSE results on May 13. A total of 17,04,367 students registered for the CBSE Class 12 examinations last year.
