CBSE Chemistry Class 12 Exam Analysis 2026: Students’ and Teachers’ Reaction
Students can read the following points to know the detailed CBSE Class 12th Chemistry Exam Analysis 2026 shared by students and teachers.
- Dr Mayank Agnihotri (PGT Chemistry, Vidya Gyan School, Sitapur) has stated that most of the students found the question paper well-structured, balanced, and clearly aligned with the CBSE syllabus. All question paper sets had a similar difficulty level which ensured fairness and uniformity in the board exam. Maximum number of questions were directly taken from the NCERT textbook, examples, and exercise problems. In Organic Chemistry, conversion-based questions were most-asked along with the analytical questions which required the arrangement of organic compounds according to their acidic and basic strengths. Numerical problems from Physical Chemistry were also direct and purely formula-based. In Inorganic Chemistry, most of the questions were focused on the direct IUPAC nomenclature. Case-based questions were also easy to attempt. He commented that overall the paper was easy and student friendly.
- Dr. Afjal Hussain Mazumder (PGT- Chemistry, Modern English School, Kahilipara, Guwahati, Assam) reported that the question paper was purely NCERT-based and had a good balance between numerical, knowledge, understanding, application, and HOTS. The language of the questions in the paper was simple and ruled out any scope of doubts or ambiguity. He added that the students who thoroughly read the NCERTs and practiced well will pass with good scores and even for students who had average preparation, obtaining passing marks will not be a big deal.
