CBSE Supplementary Exam 2025 Class 10, 12: The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the CBSE 10th 12th supplementary exam 2025 from June 15, 2025. The CBSE 10th Supplementary exams are scheduled from July 15 to 22, 2025 while the CBSE Class 12 supplementary exam will be conducted on a single day, July 15, 2025. Students can check the detailed date sheet from the official website of the board – cbse.gov.in.
The CBSE Board compartment exam timings are 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM for 2 hours papers and 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM for 3 hours papers for both class 10th and 12th. Students must collect their admit cards from their respective schools. Students appearing for the CBSE board supplementary exam must score at least 33% marks to pass in the exam. Those failing to achieve the minimum passing score will have to repeat the year and will be eligible for the board exams next year.
CBSE class 10th result 2025 and CBSE board 12th result 2025 were announced on May 13, 2025. This year, the overall pass percentage for CBSE class 10th exams stood at 93.66% while that of class 12 was 88.39%.
CBSE Board Supplementary Exam 2025: Exam-day guidelines
Students appearing for the CBSE 10th 12th supplementary exam 2025 can check important exam-day guidelines below:
- Students appearing for the CBSE board exams must visit the exam centre a few days before the exam day.
- Students are advised to reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam.
- It is mandatory for students to carry their CBSE board supplementary exam admit card to the examination hall. Students must notice that they must have a hard copy of their hall ticket with them. Softcopies will not be accepted.
- Students are prohibited to carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches etc. in the examination hall.
- Students can only use blue/black pens in the CBSE board examinations.
- Students must abstain from using any unfair means/practices in board exams.
- Students will be allowed to enter the examination hall in their proper school uniform and must have their school ID and CBSE admit card to the examination centre.
- They must carry all the stationery items required during the examination. Borrowing in the examination hall will not be allowed.
