The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the subject-wise marks distribution for class 10 and 12 on its official website. In a recent notice, the CBSE board has released details regarding distribution of total marks of the board exams into theory, practical, project and Internal Assessment.
The CBSE class 12th and 10th board practical exams including project works and internal assessments are scheduled between January 1, 2026 and February 14, 2026. Students appearing for the CBSE Class 10, 12 board exam 2026 can check the marks division of their respective subjects from the official website of the board – cbse.gov.in.
Students must note that the total marks for each subject including theory, practical, project and Internal Assessment is 100. This year, the theory papers for CBSE 10th exam 2026 will be conducted from February 17 to March 10, 2026 while the CBSE class 12 exam 2026 is scheduled from February 17 to April 9, 2026.
