The Central Board of Secondary Education has revised the exam dates for the CBSE 10th, 12th exams, scheduled on March 3. On December 30, 2025, CBSE board releases a press note regarding rescheduling of certain exams. The board has cited the administrative reasons for the CBSE datesheet 2026 revision. Now, the CBSE 10th Exam 2026 is scheduled to be conducted from February 17 to March 11, 2026 while, the CBSE class 12th exam 2026 will be held from February 17 to April 10, 2026 in pen paper mode.
This year onwards, CBSE class 10th examination will be conducted twice – February and May. While the first examination is compulsory for all, the CBSE 10th second exam is optional in nature. For CBSE 12th exam 2026, the board has announced the practical dates. CBSE class 12 practicals will be conducted from January 1 to February 14, 2026. As per the latest notification by the CBSE, exams scheduled on March 3 have been re-scheduled due to administrative reasons. The details of the revised CBSE class 10th, 12th exam 2026 have been tabulated below:
