The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has released the CAT Application Form 2026 on August 3 on the official website. To apply for CAT 2026, aspirants are required to first register themselves at iimcat.ac.in. The last date to register for the CAT exam 2026 is September 15. Aspirants must fill out all necessary details and pay the application fee before the deadline; otherwise, their application will not be considered. Interested aspirants must keep themselves updated with all important criteria such as the eligibility requirements and the application fee before applying.
Once the CAT application form 2026 is submitted, applicants will not be allowed to make changes to their personal information, such as the candidate’s name, date of birth of the candidate (DOB), mobile phone number and email address. In case an applicant enters incorrect information, they must re-register with a new email address. The most recent application submitted will be considered as final for CAT Examination 2026. The Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted every year for aspirants who wish to secure admission to MBA programmes. Every year, over 2 lakh candidates register for the CAT examination.
CAT Application Form 2026: Steps to Apply
The IIM has released the application form for the CAT 2026 Examination. Aspirants who wish to apply for the same can follow the given steps to fill out the CAT Application Form 2026:
Step 1: Visit the CAT 2026 official website, iimcat.ac.in.
Step 2: Next, click the “New Candidate Registration” button.
Step 3: Candidates will be required to enter the following personal information, which includes Name of the Candidate, Date of Birth, Email Address, Country, Mobile Number and Captcha
Step 4: Next, click the “Generate OTP” button. The OTP will be delivered to the applicant’s registered email address. Candidates must complete the CAT 2026 registration process by using the OTP.
Step 5: After successfully registering for the CAT examination, log in to the candidate’s dashboard.
Step 6: Fill out the CAT Exam Application Form 2026 with the necessary information, such as personal information, address for communication, contact information in case of emergency, and documents should be uploaded (in a prescribed format and size)
Step 7: Enter your academic/ qualification information for SSC/Class 10, HSC/Class 12, Bachelor’s Degree Details, Master’s Degree Details, and Other Professional Degree Details.
Step 8: After completing the preceding steps, applicants must enter any work experience details.
Step 9: Enter any additional personal information, communication information, and emergency contact information, and upload all required documents in the prescribed format.
Step 10: Next, choose work experience (if any), IIM programmes, and interview locations. Select up to six preferred CAT 2026 test cities.
Step 11: Finally, pay the application fee in online mode only.
Step 12: Click on Submit.

Aspirants who wish to fill out the CAT application form 2026 must complete the process by paying the mandatory registration fee. The following is the fee for CAT 2026:
