CAT 2025 Result and Shortlisting by IIMs
The CAT 2025 results will be announced soon after the publication of the CAT 2025 final answer key. The list of candidates shortlisted for the next level of selection will be made available on the website of the respective IIMs. Each IIM will send interview letters to the shortlisted candidates directly. Please note that the criteria for shortlisting vary across IIMs.
The IIM CAT selection process may include the Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interviews (PI). Performance in the CAT 2025 examination is an important component in the admission process. IIMs may additionally use other factors such as the previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience, gender, and academic diversity.
If a candidate is shortlisted for an interview by any IIM, they must provide all the marksheets and submit attested copies to prove their eligibility at the time of the IIM interview.
