The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode will release the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 answer key for slot 1, slot 2 and slot 3 on the official website on December 4, 2025. The CAT exam 2025 was conducted on November 30, 2025, in 170 cities. Candidates can check their CAT 2025 answer key from the official website, iimcat.ac.in, once released. The CAT provisional answer key 2025 for slots 1, 2 and 3 will be released separately. Once the CAT provisional answer key is out, and if candidates are not satisfied with their scores, then they can raise objections against specific questions till December 10, 2025.
The CAT 2025 examination was conducted in three sessions: the morning session from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, the afternoon session from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM and lastly the evening session from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The exam consisted of 68 questions across three sections – VARC, DILR and QA, and the exam duration was 120 minutes. The CAT results 2025 are likely to be declared in the first week of January 2026. The CAT result will also be individually declared via SMS. The CAT 2025 score will be valid till December 31, 2026.

CAT 2025 Answer Key: Slot 1, Slot 2 and Slot 3 Paper Analysis
In the CAT 2025 Slot 1, the questions in the VARC section ranged from moderate to difficult level. In the Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning section, the Spider+Bar set was comparatively trickier. As for the Quantitative Ability section, the morning slot of CAT 2025 was slightly more difficult than last year’s slot. The Slot 2 of the CAT 2025 exam was almost similar to the difficulty level of the Slot 1 exam; however, the Slot 2 of the CAT 2025 exam was more difficult than the CAT 2024. In Slot 3 of the CAT exam, the LRDI and QA sections were more difficult than the VARC section.
