The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 was successfully conducted by the IIM Kozhikode on November 30, 2025, across three slots. As per reports, around 2.58 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, having 86% attendance. The provisional CAT 2025 Answer Key is expected to be released in the first week of December 2025. Candidates who appeared for the CAT 2025 exam can download their CAT answer key and response sheet, once released from the official website – iimcat.ac.in, by using their registration number and password. The release of the CAT 2025 Answer Key will allow candidates to calculate their scores before the final result.
Once the CAT Provisional Answer Key 2025 is released, candidates can evaluate their marks, and if not satisfied, objections can be raised against it. For every objection, candidates need to pay an objection fee of INR 1,200. The payment for the objection can only be made through credit/debit card or net banking. As for the marking scheme, 3 marks will be allocated for every correct answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

CAT 2025 Answer Key: Steps to Challenge
If any candidate is not satisfied with their provisional CAT answer key, then they can raise objections against it. Mentioned below are the steps to challenge the provisional answer key for CAT 2025:
Step 1: Visit the official CAT website – iimcat.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Log in; button on the home page.
Step 3: Now, enter your CAT login ID and password.
Step 4: Navigate to the “Objection” tab and select the “+” sign to raise an objection.
Step 5: Refer to the question number mentioned in the question paper PDF.
Step 6: Enter the required particulars for the objection.
Step 7: Upload the required documents.
Step 8: Pay the objection fee INR 1,200 through credit/debit card or net banking.
