BSEB Class 12th Answer Sheets 2026 Evaluation to Start from Feb 27: As confirmed by BSEB

The Intermediate Annual Examination 2026 answer sheet evaluation will commence from February 27, 2026 as per the official notice released by BSEB on its X handle. The process will continue till March 10, 2026.

The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) issued a significant notice on February 23, 2026, regarding the BSEB class 12th answer sheet evaluation process. As per the official announcement shared on the board’s X (formerly Twitter) handle, BSEB notified that the evaluation of the answer sheet for the Inter Annual Examination 2026 will be conducted from February 27, 2026, at all the designated evaluation centres in all districts. The evaluation process for the BSEB class 12th answer sheet will continue until March 10, 2026. For evaluation and other confidential work, a list of subject-wise teacher have been appointed online via the committee’s website.

The BSEB Class 12th exam 2026 was conducted from February 2 to 13, 2026, in two shifts. The morning shift was from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM, and the afternoon shift was conducted from 1:45 PM to 5:00 PM. At the evaluation centre, a Marks Posting Personnel (MPP) will be appointed who will enter the marks from the student’s answer sheet on the award sheet and marks plate. The MPPs will be selected as per the requirement and evaluation centre from the list given by the District Education Officer’s.

The selected teachers and co-examiners can check the important BSEB Class 12th guidelines 2026 for the answer sheet evaluation process from below:

  • The board has requested the education officers to ensure that the appointment letters for the co-examiners are received by all the concerned teachers.
  • At every evaluation centre a MPP will be appointed who will enter the marks for students on the award sheet and marks plate.
  • The MPPs who will be selected and given the appointment letter to, must compulsorily report to the evaluation centre on time. If any MPP is not present on the day of the evaluation, then strict action will be taken against them under the relevant sections of the Bihar Examination Conduct Act, 1981.
  • All the selected examiners and MPPs are requested to fully cooperate in ensuring the quality evaluation of the answer sheets.

Bihar Board Class 12th Exam 2026: Passing Criteria

Students who appeared for the BSEB class 12th exam 2026, conducted from February 2 to 13, 2026, are required to score a minimum of 33% marks in aggregate to qualify for the Bihar Board Inter exams 2026. However, in practical subjects, they need to secure 40 per cent of the marks, whereas to qualify for the written exam, students must achieve 30 per cent of the marks.
