The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has successfully concluded the annual board examinations for both the Bihar Board Class 10th (Matric) 2026 Exam and the Bihar Board Class 12th (Intermediate) 2026 Exam for the 2025–26 academic session. The Intermediate exams were held from February 2 to February 13, 2026, while the Matric exams commenced on February 17 and wrapped up on February 25, 2026. With nearly 13 lakh students appearing for the Inter exams and over 15 lakh for the Matric exams, the board is now shifting its focus toward a swift and high-quality evaluation process. The Bihar Board Result 2026 will be officially announced via a press conference by the Board Chairman and the State Education Minister.
Following the completion of the evaluation phase of the BSEB Class 10th 2026 Exam and the BSEB Class 12th 2026 Exam, which is scheduled to conclude by mid-March, BSEB is expected to begin the evaluation of answer scripts by the end of February 2026, aiming for a result declaration by the third or fourth week of March. Students will be able to access their digital marksheets on the official portals, including biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and results.biharboardonline.com, using their unique Roll Code and Roll Number. For those in remote areas, the board will also provide a dedicated SMS facility and integration with DigiLocker for easy document retrieval.
Bihar Board Class 10th, 12th Exam 2026: How to download results?
The Bihar Board Class 10th and Class 12th Results 2026 can be accessed via the official website or the SMS facility. The candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download their results.
Via the official website
Step 1. Visit the official website.
Step 2. On the homepage, students will find a link for the Bihar Class 10th/12th result – click on the given link.
Step 3. Students will be redirected to a result login page where login details such as roll code, roll number and security captcha must be entered.
Step 4. Once done, candidates need to click on the submit button.
Step 5. With this, candidates will be able to check their results on the official website of BSEB.
Via SMS
Step 1. Open the SMS option on your mobile phone.
Step 2. Type ‘BIHAR10 ROLL NUMBER’.
Step 3. Once done, send the message to 56263.
Step 4. Candidates will immediately receive their results on the same mobile number.
It must be noted that the marksheet downloaded by candidates will be provisional. Candidates can receive their original BSEB marksheet from their schools at least a month after the results are released.
