Assam HS Result 2026 Date: AHSEC result not Today, Minister Confirms

Assam education minister, Ranoj Pegu, clarified on X (formerly Twitter) that the Assam HS Result 2026 Date is not April 17, 2026. In an X post, the minister wrote – “HS Exam results will not be declared tomorrow. This is a rumour.” With this, the minister has given a break to rumours that the result will be declared today. Students are advised to not believe in such rumours and to closely follow the official information only. The Assam Class 12th result 2026 date is typically announced by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and the education minister on their official social media accounts. An official announcement regarding the AHSEC result 2026 date will soon be made by the board officials.

A total of 3,30,744 students appeared for the Assam HS Final Exams 2026 and are waiting for the Assam HS Result 2026 date. The Assam Board Class 12th exams were conducted from February 11, 2026, to March 16, 2026, across 821 examination centres in the state. Students should note that the passing criteria for the Assam Class 12th Result 2026 are a minimum of 30% in each subject and in the aggregate (total) of all subjects.
