The AFCAT 2026 registration is closing today, December 19, 2025. If any candidate is still left to fill out their application form, this is their last chance to do so. Candidates can register online on afcat.cdac.in by filling in the right details and uploading important documents, including passport-size photographs and a scanned copy of their signature.
The AFCAT exam 1 is going to take place on January 31, 2026. The exam is going to be conducted in online mode in 3 phases – an online written test, an interview conducted by the Air Force Selection Board(AFSB) and a medical examination in the end.

AFCAT Exam 2026: Exam Pattern
Candidates can go through the AFCAT 2026 exam pattern released by the IAF as mentioned below:-
The exam is a computer-based multiple-choice exam with a duration of 2 hours. The total number of questions is 100, each question carrying 3 marks, making it a total of 300 marks. Also, there is negative marking where 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The AFCAT exam paper has four sections:
- General awareness,
- Verbal ability in English,
- Numerical ability and
- Reasoning & Military Aptitude Test.
