AFCAT 1 application form 2026 is now live on the official website -afcat.cdac.in. Candidates can apply online for AFCAT 2026 till December 14, 2025.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the Air Force Common Admission Test 1 application form 2026 on November 17, 2026 at 11 AM. Candidates who are interested to join the Indian Air Force can submit their application forms online at afcat.cdac.in. The AFCAT 1 registration process will continue till December 14, 2025. Candidates eligible for the Technical and Non-Technical posts can register for the exam. Candidates who are between the ages of 20-24 years are eligible to apply for the Flying Branch. Whereas, candidates between 20-26 years can apply for the Ground Duty branches. 

The AFCAT 1 registration 2026 process includes filling out academic and personal details of the candidates. After the completion of the AFCAT 1 registration process, the selection process of AFCAT 1 includes various stages such as written test, SSB interview, document verification and lastly medical verification. The final AFCAT 1 merit list is prepared based on the performance in all of the above stages. Interested candidates are urged to complete their AFCAT 1 application form early and to make sure that their documents meet the correct requirements.

AFCAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check the AFCAT 1 eligibility criteria 2026 before applying for the AFCAT 1:

1. Nationality

Candidates must be citizens of India

2. Age

The AFCAT 1 age limit for flying branch candidates is 20 – 24 years. Candidates who want to apply for the Ground Duty must be between 20 – 26 years.

3. Education Qualification

For Flying Branch: Candidates must have passed a minimum of 50% marks in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and must have a Graduation with minimum three years degree in any discipline from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

For Ground duty: Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree.

Step 5: Upload the scanned photograph, signature and thumb impression in the specified format
