NIT Andhra Pradesh Admission 2025: Admission to the flagship B.Tech course in NIT Andhra Pradesh is done through JEE Main marks obtained by the students, followed by registering for the Josaa seat allotment process. Registered students can check university-wise opening and closing ranks to seek admission across diverse B.Tech courses offered by an array of participating universities.

National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh offers various courses at undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral level. The admission process for all these courses has started for the academic year 2025. The institute offers BTech programmes in 8 specialisations. The MTech programme is another popular course offered at the NIT Andhra Pradesh. The CCMT 2025 counselling process for the MTech admission has yet to be start for year 2025.

The minimum eligibility criteria for BTech at the NIT is HSC (10+2) with a minimum 75 per cent score. Applicants should also have appeared in the national level exam, JEE Main and have scored within the cutoff limits. The admission for the undergraduate programme in engineering is based on the JoSAA counselling. Under PG programmes, the NIT Andhra Pradesh offers MTech and a newly introduced MS degree. The minimum qualification for the MTech Programme is a bachelor’s degree in technology with at least 60 per cent scores.

The MS (by research) programme has been recently introduced by the NIT Andhra Pradesh in all the eight engineering departments of the institute. Candidates willing to apply for the course must have a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering. The institute conducts a written test and interview for the selecting candidates for MS admissions. For the PhD admissions, scores of GATE/ CSIR/ UGC-NET is taken into consideration followed by an interview for each department of the NIT.
