JEE Advanced Exam 2026: This year, the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, will conduct the JEE Advanced 2026 Exam. The exam authority has released the JEE Advanced Exam Date 2026 on its official portal. According to the official update, the IIT Roorkee will conduct the JEE Advanced Exam 2026 on May 17, 2026. Along with it, the conducting institute has also published the eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced 2026. The IIT Roorkee will soon publish the JEE Advanced Notification 2026 on the official website- jeeadv.ac.in.
JEE Advanced 2026 registration will start on April 23 and continue till May 2, 2026. The JEE Advanced admit cards will be available for download from May 11 to 17, 2026, on the official website. The JEE Advanced result 2026 will be announced on June 1, 2026.
Along with the notification PDF, the exam authority will also activate the JEE Advanced Application Form 2026 on its official portal. Candidates who have secured the top 2.5 lakh rank in JEE Mains 2026 will be able to register for the JEE Advanced 2026 exam by visiting the official portal. Only those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria were able to register for the exam. Students must have a minimum of 75% marks in their Class 12 in order to be eligible for admission to IITs (Delhi, Bombay, Kanpur, Madras, Hyderabad, and more).
As per the JEE Advanced Exam Pattern 2026, there will be two papers: Paper I & Paper II. Candidates have to compulsorily appear for both Paper I and II. Both papers will be conducted on the same day, and their duration will be 3 hours each. The questions in both papers will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. There will be different types of questions in the paper, including Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), Paragraph Questions, and Numeric Questions.
JEE Advanced Exam 2026
The JEE Advanced 2026 exam is conducted for the top 2,50,000 candidates who qualified for the JEE Main 2026 exam and wish to take admission into engineering programmes offered by IITs. The exam is conducted by seven IITs on a rotational basis. These seven IITs are IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras, and IIT Kanpur.

JEE Advanced Admit Card 2026
The JEE Advanced admit card will be released only for those candidates who have successfully filled out the application form. The admit card will be available at least 10 days before the scheduled exam date. It should be noted that JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card is a mandatory document to carry to the examination centre, without an admit card no candidates will be permitted to appear in the exam.
After downloading the admit card, students must also check the details mentioned on their admit card. In case of any discrepancy, the candidate must report to the concerned authority immediately. Following are the details that need to be checked in the admit card:

After all the objections raised by candidates are resolved, the final answer key will be released. Along with the final answer key, JEE Advanced results will also be released by the authority.

JEE Advanced 2026 Result
The JEE Advanced Result 2026 will be announced after verifying the objections raised by the candidates against provisional answer key. The result is made public as a scorecard. The JEE Advanced Result 2026 includes information like the Common Rank List (CRL), the applicants' individual subject-wise scores, and their combined marks from Papers I and II. All India Rank (AIR) will also be included on the scorecard. Candidates who will receive a rank will be contacted for JoSAA counselling after the results are revealed.

JEE Advanced 2026 Cutoff
The JEE Advanced cutoff will be released by the conducting body. The cutoff will be released for every category and contains the minimum marks in each subject and the minimum aggregate marks required by candidates to score. However, this will only be the qualifying cutoff for the exam. The JEE Advanced admission cutoff will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks based on which colleges will be allotted to selected candidates.
