BIEAP Exam Pattern 2023 : Check Subject-wise Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

BIEAP Exam Pattern 2023: The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh conducted the BIEAP 2nd year intermediate examination from March 16, 2023, till April 4, 2023. The BIEAP exam pattern gives an overview of the total exam duration, total marks, marks distribution, and marking scheme. Candidates will benefit from an awareness of the exam pattern as they will know the relative importance of different chapters and question types in terms of marks weightage. 

The duration of the BIEAP 2nd year written examination is 3 hours. The BIEAP Class 12 examination for language subjects is worth 100 marks. The subjects where the written examination carries 100 marks are English, History, Civics, Economics, Commerce, Sociology and optional language subjects such as Telugu, Tamil, Urdu, Sanskrit, and Kannada. The theory examinations of Maths and Geography are worth 75 marks. The Science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology account for 60 marks each. 

Students need to score at least 35% marks to qualify for the BIEAP 2nd year intermediate examination. The result is calculated by allotting 80% marks weightage to the final board exam and 20% marks weightage to the internal assessment. Students are advised to check the exam pattern carefully in order to create an informed preparation strategy.
