Assam HS Result 2026: The Assam HS Result 2026 has been released by the board on April 28, 2026, at 10:30 AM. The Assam State School Education Board, Division II, has released the results for the Assam HS (Higher Secondary) 2nd year examinations in online mode. Students can check and download their Assam Board class 12 marksheets 2026 from the official website - asseb.in, ahsec.assam.gov.in. The Assam HS exam 2026 was conducted from February 11 to March 16, 2026.

To download the Assam ASSEB result 2026, students need to fill out the required login details, such as roll number, date of birth, and security captcha code, in the login window. Apart from the official website, the Assam HS result for class 12th can also be checked through SMS and Upolobdha applications. 

Students are required to secure at least 30% of the total marks for subjects having no practical parts to qualify for the Assam HS exams 2026. For a subject having practical parts, the minimum qualifying marks shall be 30% of the marks allocated to the theory part and 40% of the marks allocated to the practical part, and a student must pass in the theory part and in the practical part separately. The marksheets will be dispatched by the Assam board to the respective schools after the results are released online.

The Assam Board 12th result 2026 has been announced on April 28, 2026, at 10:30 AM. Students can check and download their Assam HS 2nd year result 2026 from the official result website - ahsec.assam.gov.in. To check the Assam HS result 2026 via SMS, students will have to send a text message - ASSAM12(Roll Number) at 56263. 

Students can also check their Assam board result 2026 via the Upolobdha application by entering the necessary login credentials such as roll number and security captcha code. It must be noted that the marksheets will be dispatched by the Assam board officials to the respective schools after the results are released online.

Last year, the Assam board released the Assam HS result on April 30, 2025, at 9 AM. Ranoj Pegu, state education minister, had officially confirmed the Assam 12th result date and time on his official X handle. A total of 3,02,420 students appeared for the Assam HS result last year. The pass percentage for the Arts Stream stood at 81.032%. For the Commerce and Science streams, Assam HS Result pass percentage was 82.18% and 84.88%, respectively. Assam HS Result 2026: How to check

Students will be able to check their AHSEC 12th result from the official website, resultsassam.nic.in. The steps to check the Assam HS result 2026 are as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website of AHSEC

Step 2: Click on the ‘Assam HS 2nd Year Result 2026’ link available on the homepage

Step 3: The login window will open upon clicking the result link

Step 4: Enter roll number, date of birth, and other required details

Step 5: The marksheet will appear on the screen upon submitting details

Step 6: Download the marksheet and save it for future use

Note: It must be noted that the marksheet downloaded by candidates will be provisional. Candidates can receive their original AHSEC marksheet from their schools at least a month after the results are released.

Sometimes, during the release of the results, the official website server slows down, causing students to be unable to check their results for a few hours. The Assam board has come up with an alternative way to check the AHSEC result through SMS. The steps to check your Assam HS result 2026 via SMS are as follows:

Upolobdha is an app for students to check their Assam HS result 2026. Students must follow the instructions given below to check their Assam HS result:

• Open the Google Play Store in your mobile device
• Search Upolobdha and install the app
• Click on ‘AHSEC Result 2026’ tab
• Enter the roll number and captcha
• Click on the submit button
• Assam 12th board result 2026 will be displayed on the screen

Assam HS Result 2026 - Revaluation/Rechecking

Students who are not satisfied with their ASSEB 12th result 2026 can apply for the revaluation of their answer sheetsThe Assam board HS revaluation/ rechecking application portal opens two days after the declaration of Assam HS results. Candidates must apply within 15 days of the portal's opening. Detailed instructions for the application process will be provided on the portal. Applications submitted without the required fee or through offline modes will not be accepted. Incomplete applications will be rejected outright.

The results of re-checking is announced on the official website within 30 days of the last date for receiving applications. A scanned copy of the evaluated answer script is sent to the email address provided by the candidate during the application process. This copy contains all details about the identity of the examiner, evaluator, or other officials involved in the examination process removed, along with the marked answers. Last year, the Assam 12th rechecking result for arts, science and commerce was announced on June 12, 2025.

The decision of the board's competent authority regarding marks will be final and binding. Candidates must give an undertaking that the scanned copy and re-checked answer scripts will not be shared with institutions, schools, or used for any display, commercial purposes, or in print and electronic media. Any violation of this condition may lead to legal action. The scanned copy of the evaluated answer script cannot be challenged in court or used as the basis for any claim in any forum. The board will not be responsible for any inconvenience, loss, or damage caused to candidates due to delays beyond its control.
